Scores matter in golf. The Masters is always the most-watched toonamint on the planet. That means when golfers struggle, everyone unfortunately sees the epic scoring meltdowns–especially when in contention. E.Michael Johnson tallies up the worst postings by hole in the history of the event.
These are the scores that are difficult to watch and worse to post.

The list contains 16 golfers with a combined 31 major championships. Two of them are even listed twice: Arnold Palmer and Henrik Stenson (whose quadruple-bogey 8 on No. 18 in the first round of 2012 came when he was leading).
